What is a Bullet Journal?
Bullet Journaling
Do you keep a journal?
They are great to write your thoughts, feelings, and dreams down. The problem I encountered with keeping a regular journal was that I didn't write as often as I wanted to.
If you wish to improve your journalling skills, give bullet journaling a try! It increases the amount you journal because it keeps you accountable to be writing in it every day.
In short, bullet journals combine your calendar, tracker, diary, sketchbook and/or notebook all in one place. It helps you organize your past, present and future, and it can be customized to become whatever else you need it to be.
It is a great concept but starting can definitely be intimidating.
How do you start?
Start by researching on Google and YouTube as there is plenty of information available online. Once you have all your supplies ready, start by planning your first month.
Mistakes will happen. Don't let the fear of making mistakes stop you from even starting! My biggest tip is detach from your inner critic. You may use the wrong pen, you might not like your layout, and that is okay! The great part about bullet journaling is that you learn from your mistakes, embrace the character in the "flaws" and improve on your next month.
Make bullet journalling you time to relax and have a moment to yourself.
