Green Makeup Products for Radiant Skin
Green Beauty Glow
Fresh, radiantly polished makeup looks are easily achieved when using green makeup products because their ingredients are nourishing and act as skin care by providing a healthy natural glow.
Foundations
Foundations are great to even out skin tone. Before applying, prepare the skin with an oil, serum, and/or moisturizer.
Favourite Foundations:
Vapour's Atmosphere Soft Focus and Atmosphere Luminous Foundations. My favourite everyday foundations! They have incredible organic ingredients including frankincense, tulsi and lotus. When applied with fingers or a makeup blending sponge, the skin is left with a beautiful dewy finish and with medium coverage. They have also now upgraded to more sustainable packaging.
Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation. The best special occasion foundation. It has great organic ingredients and offers reusable packing. Applied with fingers, a makeup blending sponge or a paddle foundation brush, the skin is left with a flawless medium to full coverage with a glowing satin finish.
Concealers
Concealers are great to apply to areas of the face that need some extra coverage. This may be to under the eyes or to any areas that are uneven in colour.
Favourite Concealers:
W3ll People Bio Correct Concealer. This is a great under eye concealer because it has caffeine that reduces puffiness and inflammation. It leaves a soft, satin, medium coverage finish.
Hynt Beauty Duet Concealer. This is a great spot concealer that leaves a satin, full coverage finish.
RMS Un-coverup concealer. This product is great for a that "no makeup, makeup look" because it evens out the complexion while still looking second. It is great under the eyes, uneven areas, leaving medium-light to medium coverage and dewy finish.
Highlighters
Highlighting compliments your face shape by touching areas where the sun would naturally reflect the most light. The ideal areas to apply to are the cheekbones, inner eye, nose bridge and a little above the eyebrow. Cream and liquid highlighters leave the most natural, breathable and glowing finish. If using a powder, you can try mixing or setting it with a facial spray to reduce the appearance of texture on the skin.
Favourite Highlighters:
Maya Chia, The Highlight of The Day. These are dropper style serums that are filled with light-reflective pigments that create a subtle glow when on the skin.
RMS, Luminizers. These creams come in a variety of pigment colours and finishes. Some provide a "wet look" and others more of a subtle glow.
Rituel De Fille, Rare Light Luminizers. These creams are available in a few different shades, all providing a unique ethereal glow.
Facial Mists
Always finish a makeup application with a facial mist! Doing so gently blends the makeup look together, providing a natural and radiant finish while minimizing texture. Carry a facial mist throughout the day to touch up, refresh and hydrate your skin.
Favourite Facial Mists:
Graydon, Face Food Mineral Mist. This product is scentless and has the most incredible ingredients such as silver, zinc, copper and magnesiums which helps fight bacteria, wrinkles and inflammation.
Leven Rose, Moroccan Rose Water Toner. With a beautiful true rose scent, this helps to hydrate and balance the skin.
Saje Natural Wellness Lavender Relaxing Mist. Lavender helps to calm, balance, soothe and hydrate the skin.
May Lindstrom, Jasmine Garden. This is a super luxurious facial mist with ingredients like witch hazel, silver, jasmine and Bulgarian rose.
Odacite, Rose and Neroli Treatment Mist. This mist has a beautiful scent, helps balances the skin and minimizes the appearance of pores.
